Argentorati (Strasbourg) opera & expensis Iohannis Gruninger 1493. Small in-4o, 19 x 13,5 cm, sign. A6, B4, C-Z8, AA-GG8, HH6, II-LL8, missing the blank LL8, the title page is cut bearing only the title "Speculum peregrinarum quaestionum". Modern paper temporary binding with wear, clean text. Very rare drawing of the second edition bearing the date of 14 September 1499 as described by Hain IV, 14720, the copies found in public librairies bear the date of 19 August 1499, the first edition dated 1493 in Rome, Euch. Silber. No copy of the second edition has been sold in public auction for the the last 15 years.

Sibylla was a dominican Prior who studied at Bologna and Ferrara. He wrote philosophical and theological studies and his present questions concrn angels, fate, invocations to call up devils and discusses herbs, charms and symbols.
