Title in red and black, engraved in wood initials. The author wrote several books defending the Catholic religion mostly against Luther views. Attractive full contemp. pigskin binding, blind-stamped with several scenes from Evangile, first plates's middle scene is the Crucification and the second's is the Resurection of Christ. Slight use on the binding, 3 tiny warmholes on it not affecting the pages, few ancient marginalia on same pages.
